A few days ago, we exclusively revealed how top city events organizers were bickering over juicy deals from the Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA).
We have established that this war erupted after FUFA President Moses Magogo shunned promoter Balaam Barugahare and Musa Kavuma, who have previously been handling Uganda Cranes games, and instead gave away juicy deals to their rival Bobkins Kibirigge of Kibbo Media.
It is said that the FUFA President snubbed the two promoters and went into collaboration with promoter Bobkins, to whom he has handed all the deals of Uganda Cranes games and other FUFA events, which didn’t amuse Balam and Kavuma.
Following the developments, Blaam has gotten back to us and revealed that he is currently chasing big deals, so it was good riddance, because he is interested in bigger games, not the likes of the South Sudan game which can’t attract a big turn up.
He intimated to us that he never expressed interest in FUFA forthcoming games because he only targets big games.
Ironically Balaam intimated that there is no way he can fight for small deals meant for upcoming promoters who are not in his caliber.
Promoter Bobkins has already scooped deals to handle Uganda Cranes games against South Sudan and Egypt.
Previously he has been behind FUFA events like Cranes Namutima campaigns, Uganda Premier League awards and FUFA Awards.
